On February 17, 2026 a Paw Paw Public Schools’ Board of Education seat became vacant. State law requires that the Board appoint a person to fill the vacancy within thirty (30) calendar days after the vacancy occurs. The person appointed will fill the vacancy until the newly elected school board member begins his/her term following certification of the November 3, 2026 election results. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS To be eligible to be a school board trustee, an individual must be a citizen of the United States and a qualified and registered voter of the Paw Paw Public School District. All Paw Paw area senior citizens age 60 and older are invited to attend the next PPPS Senior Citizens Luncheon on Friday, February 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Paw Paw High School. Doors open at 1:15 p.m. Please park and enter on the west side of the high school.
