Today the 2021 Summer Learning Experience kicked into gear, with more than 400 students participating in six programs, and all K-5 students enrolled in a summer reading program. It was a great, fun day of learning, including the Outdoor Education experience at the Later Elementary where students explored "what's living on campus", and in Project Elevate at PPHS where students planted seeds of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and ideas, and at the Theater Program (Summer with Shakespeare" where kids started looking at scripts for scenes from Shakespeare they'll put on stage in the weeks to come.
We made it! Happy summer Cedar Street families! Please call the school to set up a time if you need to come in at (269)415-5700. Be safe, have fun and get outside and enjoy the sun!
Cedar Street Community and Family Center is sending out a special congratulations to our 5th Grade E Learning Students. It was a hot, but wonderful ceremony and celebration at the Later Elementary with Mrs. Lundquist and the 5th grade graduates.
We have one more half day here at Aspire. Make sure you are here on our last day to confirm you have everything in for your classes to earn full credit and some fun. Check around at home for any misplaced library books, textbooks or technology so you don't end up with a surprise bill.
Enjoy your summer, get out in nature and disconnect for awhile. We can't wait to see you back in the fall!
It's almost time for summer break! Please make sure you get your chromebooks, chargers, books, calculators and any other school materials you have turned in so you don't get charged.
We are so proud of everyone for making it through this unusual year. Go enjoy your summer! You deserve it! We will see you back in the fall!
This is a reminder to attend tonight's "Virtual" Town Hall Meeting at 8 pm. All are invited to attend!
