Did you know that maintaining interest in reading 20 minutes throughout the summer helps us avoid the "summer slide" with our kids. This summer is more critical than ever to motivate our kids to read regularly throughout the summer to guarantee a strong start to what he hope will be a more traditional school year in the fall. Be sure to look at the book fair for some great deals on books.

The next Paw Paw Public Schools Parent Chat program is an opportunity for a Mental Health Check-Up & Check-In. Paw Paw Public Schools Mental Health Clinician Stacey Coon-Ballard will lead a session with information that can help students, parents, and families take stock of how things are going mentally, especially for those who may be struggling at this time.
The program will be held Thursday, March 11, beginning at 7 PM via the Zoom platform. There will be information for parents of students in all grade levels, K-12, shared by staff people from across the District and also time for questions and the sharing of strategies between parents and school staff people.
If you would like to pre-register for the program, you can do so by signing up at this link: March 11 Pre-Registration Link.
If you fill out the pre-registration you can help us better plan for the event by sharing the grade level of your student and any topic you are wanting us to be sure to cover during our presentation.
An email will be sent out to all parents in the School Messenger system on Sunday, March 7, that will have the link for the program as well.
If you have questions or ideas for this program or for future Parent Chat programs, please be in touch with Corey Harbaugh, Paw Paw PS Director of Curriculum & Instruction, at 269-415-5211 or corey.harbaugh@ppps.org.
