 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Paw Paw, MI –The Paw Paw Public Schools (PPPS) Strategic Plan marketing rollout began in November of 2022. In that time, there has been a concerted effort to communicate the plan through the district’s website, social media, newsletters, flyers, posters, banners, and other school communications. Now, almost a year later, the final piece in that marketing plan is ready to launch. Centered around the Strategic Plan, a series of six short videos will be released weekly on the district’s Facebook Page. There is one for each school and one for the district. Each video is focused on the following district goals: Academic Growth, Social and Emotional Growth, Kindness, Respect and Safety, Community Connections, and Facility Plans.

“As a district, we are excited to debut these videos because they showcase the level of creativity and enthusiasm each school has demonstrated in their approach to adopting our Strategic Plan,” said PPPS Superintendent Rick Reo. “The Strategic Plan is a document that outlines our vision, our mission, our goals, and our core values. By collaborating with the team at Worth Detroit, we were able to harness the power of video and bring that document to life.”

Each video is about two minutes in length and set to music using a fast-paced, montage-style format. Custom content was shot on campus and features students, teachers, staff, and the community working together to achieve the district’s goals.

“Early in this project, each building’s administration team was asked to highlight some ways the Strategic Plan was being implemented in their school,” said Lisa Shanley, communications director. “Thanks to the input and cooperation from the schools and the experts at Worth Detroit, the resulting videos not only communicate our Strategic Plan in a fun, memorable and engaging way, but they also build awareness and reinforce the best of our brand identity as a district.”
